Electra Glide in blue is a 1973 movie starring Robert Blake as a Highway patrol officer. Nice bike scenes. I will never forget the final scene. One of the most memorable ever. I will not say how it ends for those who haven’t seen it yet.

Theme Bikes – Galactica bikes

We all loved Galactica and the flying bikes when we were kids. The Galactica bikes were based on a Yamaha MX 175. There were 3 bikes made and they were bought from the North Hollywood Yamaha dealership. They were designed by Universal Hartland Visual Effects Facility that was a wholly owned subsidiary of Universal Studios.

Theme Bikes – Batman (and Robin) rides 2

The latest two-wheeled additions to the Batman movies are the Redbird(1997) and the Batpod(2008). The Redbird is Robin’s motorcycle and it was designed by Harald Belker. The information I have found say that it was custom-built, based on a Honda engine.

The Batpod was designed by Nathan Crowly for The Dark knight. It has crazy 20 inch tyres and a single cylinder engine is mounted in the hub of the wheels.
